In Loving Memory of my brother

I dedicate this page to my brother, Wayne, with everlasting love.
Wayne was 31 years old when he passed away, the better years of ones life.
He went to Heaven a few days before the "Challenger" space shuttle crew, and if I knew my brother, he helped welcome them Home.
Cystic Fibrosis took my brother. He took with him my heart; my only brother, and all of my childhood memories.
Wayne was unique in his limited lifetime. He obtained his co-pilot license; drove an 18-wheeler; groomed greyhounds in Orange Park, Florida, and drafted the blueprints for the church I was married at in 1975. We would, as children, look through the telescope and loved wondering about Heaven and awesome beauty of the planets above. Wayne held onto more love and definition for life than any person I know, and literally lived one day at a time. Wayne was always hopefully that a cure for CF would be found...if not for him, for the other children that surrounded him at support groups. He truely was an inspiration to everyone that knew him. He's at peace now and embrassed in God's loving arms.

My Dear Brother,
The Lord promises that I will see you again. I rejoice in that. But I hold a void in my heart; I don't know the reasons why you had to leave this world so early. I am sorry we could not have grown old together in life.
I miss you Wayne, dearly and deeply. I keep your memory alive here on this page, as well in my heart.

You lived a short life and lived it as fast as you could, doing as much as you could, facing death with courage and neverending faith. Your strength in your struggle to see a new day's sunrise was amazing.
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen"
Hebrews 11:1

I love you brother, always have, always will.
Your loving sister, Cheryl
